In our Calgary workshop, we design and make jewellery by hand, from engagement rings and custom pieces to heirloom remodelling and repair, creating work meant to be worn and cherished.
A Five-Generation Goldsmith Lineage
Shimoon carries a craft shaped over more than 125 years within the same family, passed from one generation to the next and refined through decades at the bench.
Haik Shimoon began learning goldsmithing at the age of thirteen, trained within a family workshop where repetition, discipline, and patience defined daily work. What began as an apprenticeship became a lifelong practice, refined through years of making by hand.
Across generations, the craft was carried forward rather than altered. The foundation remained constant: jewellery is understood from the inside out before it is made. That principle continues to guide the work today.
Now based in Calgary, the workshop continues this lineage in a single space where design, fabrication, and finishing take place under one roof.
